Agreed on the more numbers - needs at least a 12 on there but you can see why they left off the 3.
Lovely looker though, some of the newer breitling offerings have been great IMO.
Although I was very impressed with the Superocean Abyss I bought a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't get on with the rubber strap. I changed it from a buckle to a deployant, which was a big improvement, but still not quite for me.
I also felt the 42mm case was a little small.
After I sold the Abyss on Wednesday, I posted a WTB for a Superocean 44 and within a couple of hours andrewcregan contacted me and we agreed a deal on this.
I absolutely love it. The only thing I'd change is I'd add more numbers to the dial, like on the Abyss. I know many don't like the font on the new Superoceans, but I do and I think it would work much better on the larger dial of the 44.

I still think it looks stunning 8) and I am pleased to see it found such an appreciative owner :)
Have to agree. The Breitling display in my AD had more watches I liked than any I've seen in a long time.Originally Posted by geordie

Beautiful watch
Looks very nice that, like you say it could perhaps do with some more numbers but its still a cracking looking watch.
Very nice!
Beautiful watch, I have it in blue, lovely size and very comfortable
What size wrist do you have? I really like the look of them but worry it'll be a bit too big for me. thanks
Agree a 12 at the top would complete the package. Also like how the end links and bracelet flow together. Nice.
That is nice and I didnt notice the odd numbering
Very nice indeed...Liked this one from the start...
I love that, hadn't seen one before
Lovely piece hope it's a keeper!!
I tried one of these on in Gibraltar a while ago. It had a blue second hand but what a great watch. Sat on my wrist really well. Didn't seem to wear as tall as the spec suggests. And super legible.
Definitely a future consideration.
Im so glad they bought out the 44mm 42 is a lovely piece but just a tad on the small side, looks fab pal!
Very nice watch - looks great, and you can tell from the pic the 42 would be too small on you.
I was unsure of the font style used on these, especially on the bezel - but really growing on me now.
Very nice looking watch!
Very nice piece. In an ideal world (for me at least) if the dial had 3, 6, 9 and 12 with the date at 4 then we'd be firing on all cylinders.
Still, a great capture! Enjoy!
PS - 42mm too small? How big are your wrists?!
great watch, wasn't a fan at first but definetley a grower! Congrats
I'm not sure that I would like to look at my watch and see "69" every day. I suppose it's better than that "Ball Deep" model, but not much.
Seriously though, it's a nice looking watch and fairly tasteful for a Breitling.
Very nice!
I tried one on at my local AD and was pleasantly surprised on how well it wore on my slim 6.75" wrist?
It just exuded quality and solidity.
Very heavy though.
My only "niggle" about it was the 9 & 6 numerals. They seem out of balance and lack symmetry.
I personally don't like numbers on the dial of a diver and wish it were just plain batons like on the latest Seawolf SS plain baton version.
Still, I am considering buying one, can I live with the large unbalanced numbers? Not sure.
Great watch though.
That is stunning - I think these are a brilliant watch, though possibly not to everyone's taste esp die-hard breitling traditionalists.
I really love the blue arrowed version, but upon seeing yours I think its topped it and is the perfect combo - how are you finding for comfort/overall build??
Congratulations
Really nice Breitling - one of my current fave's. It's simple, but just has enough design flourishes without being too much.
Lovely watch, congrats.
Agree with a few thoughts below, the missing 12 looks abit odd to me
Beautiful and nice watch, enjoy it.
