I'd like an old White explorer ii
Idly imagining a windfall of monstrous proportions (i.e. money no object) I've decided my life would be most improved by getting my hands on:
- Breguet Marine - the blue swirly dialled one[/*:m:hzcfmphw]
- A fine dressy regulator (TBC but whatever looks most like the Tiffany example posted by Heurty in the current reg thread)[/*:m:hzcfmphw]
- The perfect ana-digi. I have absolutely no idea what this is and will never satisfy the craving, but it's my biggest "undecided" in all of WISdom[/*:m:hzcfmphw]
Anybody else dreaming?
I'd like an old White explorer ii
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
Potentially doable watches;
Rolex 16600 (Comex)
Patek Naughty GMT
Rolex Day Date II - Platinum
It's just a matter of time...
Lange 1 101.021 (Yellow Gold) or 109.025 (Platinum)
Franck Muller Crazy Hours - Copper Guilloche dial
Vacheron Constantin Malte Tonneau Dual time 47400 or Breguet 3330
1.Olivia Wilde
2.Natalie Portman
3.Jessica Alba
oh watches?
1.Something bonkers from Ulysse Nardin, probably with unicorns tears for oil and pterodacyl skin strap.
2. Something refined : Zenith Captain Power Reserve
3. the perfect quartz, probably solar too. Maybe Seiko SDGA001?
Money no object, at all? Easy, a Hybris Mechanica Grande Sonnerie. The other two watches come with it.
Being slightly more realistic:
1. Meteorite Daytona
2. JLC Ultra Thin Moon 39
3. A birth year SD in perfect condition
Tudor blue snowflake
IWC Portuguses in rose gold
Not sure on the last one, but want a square faced dress watch
1. RM Sports Watch
2. PP GMT
3. Lange GMT
Yes I am a greedy chap
JLC Master Grand Reveil
I actually have my dream three at the moment, but who knows....it could all change so easily!
Speedmaster Professional '74, so totally wearable, don't have to worry too much about it.
63/64 SM300, beaten up and full of wabi, gorgeous patination.
Incoming 16600 LV.
I feel fulfilled.... but for how long?
Just a Lange 1. That would do it.
1.Rolex 5512
2.IWC 3231
3.? ? ?
My dream top three are a Sub date 16610, Explorer II 16570 and Explorer 114270 - which I have managed to purchase and consider myself extremely fortunate.
A future dream top three would be something that is not made any more, hard to find but still wearable. May be a double red Sea Dweller, Comex Sub and a PN Daytona. Plus all in A1 mint condition!
Omega Seamaster 2254.50 (got).
Omega Speedmaster pro, early 70s model.
Rolex GMT coke dial.
Quite modest compared to some wishlists here!
I already have two......
......and the third should be ready in a couple of weeks 8) ....
Cheers :)

Rolex explorer II white dial 39mm
Seiko 6159-7000
Omega Seamaster Bond Auto
ktmog6uk
marchingontogether!
I was looking for this year Speedy very long (birth year). Finally I had 1964 (105.012),1976 and 1978.Originally Posted by MerlinShepherd

Having read a number of threads I have changed my mind...
1.SM300
2.5512
3.IWC 3231
My game plan is to:
1.Start buying parts online and put this together myself
2.Graduation present in the summer
3.Start a fund from my premium bond winnings for this one..
1. Rolex DSSD
2. Panerai 232
3. Panerai 305
If I won the lottery I'd opt for 3 pan am gmt's, only 8)

Something from Lange & Sohne, Urwek & Greubel Forsey
Andy
Wanted - Damasko DC57
The rest all change but one that I've always envied is the Anonimo Millemetri mod 2000.
No chance of ever affording one or justifying it's cost so it is a dream....
edit - this was the review where I first became aware of it, surprising how long they have quietly been around.. http://www.vintageure.dk/uploads/div...Millemetri.pdf
Vintage Patek Philippe moonphase calender chronogragh

* Vintage Panda Daytona
VC Overseas Date
Rolex Sub 116610LV
Breitling Navitimer B01
Rolex 5508
Grand Seiko SBGH001
Some pilot watch, probably a Stowa Flieger
I was thinking of adding a chronograph or some other watch with a complication as my third choice, but I like the clean and simple 3-hands watches the most.
edit:
Oh wait, reading the post a few above mine, I may have to swap the pilot watch for a Paul Newman-dial Rolex Daytona.
Glashutte Original Panamatic Lunar

1. Omega Flightmaster 911 (got)
2. Omega Anakin
3. Omega Speedmaster Pro from 1972

I think at least one is achievable if I sell my 16600 sea dweller
Andy

2. Breitling Transocean (white dial and brown croco strap)
3. Omega Speedmaster (either co-axial 44,25 "standard" or the co-axial 44,25 split seconds - but could also be the 3570.50)
