I really like bronze watches 8) is it sapphire or plexi?
Received my Aquadive Bronze today and what an amazing piece it is .
The Attention to detail all around is wonderful and I just love the Brown Dial and Brown DLC Indices ... the Brown Isofrane with Brown DLC Buckle really is a wonderful touch .
Look forward to watching this baby Patina over time .
Cheers,
Vic

Not seen these until now, but they're lovely looking watches
That is plain lovely. Pardon the question, but is this a currently available, new watch or an older piece? Whatever, it is beautiful.
Nice one Victor .
That watch just screams quality to me it looks amazing .
Thanks for posting .

:D I like it but woulden't have one myself, it would be to big, all the brown DLC bits are cool.
Just by the look you can tell it hasn't been machined and assembled in CHINA (no disrespect intended to those who do own these so called "micro brand" divers)..Finally a good looking BRONZE watch wich is more then just BRONZE!! Nice detailed dial and bezel.....Lets hope it patina's nicely and not like the "others" I have seen...
It is not that Big ... 43mm Diameter and 22mm Lug Width and around 15mm Tall .. wears very comfortablyOriginally Posted by dutchgray

All the best,
Vic :)
very cool 8)
Great acquisition Vic and if I recall correctly the pre-release price of these was excellent.
Enjoy and HAGWE
Hey Victor,
I adore your aquadive. I love the shape of the case and the materials and the isofrane. Could you please send me the details of where one can get his hands on such a piece...and the price of course. Thanks!
pre sale price was about 1250 dollars if i'm correct.
Personally, I much prefer the stainless steel version of this watch, with the exception of Anonimo, I think bronze watches are a fad that's not quite so 'cool' anymore. At least Aquadive didn't charge a premium over the stainless steel verson.
I like it, didn't know they were back! Very similar to my time/depth
I have made a comment on your watch in the past and again I feel the need to say: That's a serious piece of attention screaming steel you are wearing amigo....People must ask you about this one all the time :D

In picture 3 it looks to me like the top half (bezel) does not go with the bottom half (case).
Seriously don't like the yellow as it clashes with the bronze.
Nice one,Vic.
Congrats.
Here is another one -Made in Garage- but with a black dial.
I'm beginning to get tempted by bronze, but need something slightly smaller.
Here's a thought, why don't you take a picture of the watch several times a day every day in the same place with the same light and then animate the patination? That would make a great video
It actually is a great idea.Needs some commitment but for WISs would be a fantastic thing.Originally Posted by MerlinShepherd
Why is the crown not made of brass ?Originally Posted by RAJEN
It doesn't match, it looks like an after thought from the spare parts bin :sad5:
Well, they ran out of bronze spare parts in the garage, so had to use SS.Originally Posted by nesima
On a serious note, am not sure how many bronze watches you have seen in pics or person but most feature a SS crown and case back.
Some may not like it but I like the contrast.
I have an Anonimo polluce and a Zenton bronze, both with SS crowns. My PAM 382 has a bronze crown but is a different assembly.
One of the old timers posted some pictures of a bronze PAM a few weeks ago.
It did look lovely.
I think titanium or tungsten would have gone better with the bronze case.
But ideally all metal external parts on a watch including the buckle, bracelet should be the same metal.
Wow - how big is that?Originally Posted by simonsays

Disagree! I think it is lovely. I take it you don't like contemporaneous diver's watches such as Doxas?Originally Posted by nesima

i think it is a Marmite type of watch and balances between cool and ridiculous, brash and beautiful. But i have a soft spot for it and am wearing it a lot at the momentOriginally Posted by nesima
