I knew it wouldn't be long before you got pics of that one up, Tony!
Really nice. The quality of IWC kit is very hard to beat, and the dial on that one is fantastic.
I've had an IWC before - a vintage Yacht Club, actually, but nothing like this beauty. I've fancied one of these for a long time, and having waited a while due to the logistics of delivery it certainly doesn't disappoint. Aside from the beautiful in-house movement (I'll get some photos of that up later) it's built like a tank. The dial's something to behold too, with a textured white finish setting off rose gold indices and hands that look wonderful when the light hits them.
It was this or an AP 15300 - bearing in mind that I didn't really have funds for the latter, I can't say that I'm even slightly regretting my decision.

Very nice, Tony - you're one lucky chap...
The most beautifull inge imho....looking forward to the movement pictures!
Very nice - really classy with a super clear dial.
Thats's very nice Tony.
I have been lusting after an AP15300 too lately but think I would happily settle for this instead!
Something about the rose gold indices and hands that just adds that little extra to it....
Love it, Tony! Congrats... :)

Nice one Tony! Those white dials are classy! 8)
But what happened to smaller watches? :P
I know the 3227 has some weak lume on the indices and on the 12 and 6. It seems that the 3228 doesn't have any which I find even more appealing. The whole look for the 3228 makes it a dressier watch; specs online show that it's 2 mm smaller and 1mm less thick than the 3227. Beautiful watch!
That's a beauty Tony, congrats!
Yeah, that's nice Tony. Let me know when it's time's up
very nice. How does it wear? what size is it?
A beautiful watch, for me everything about it is right. I like white dialled watches at the best of times but the rose gold indices are just lovely :drunken:
Beautiful Ingy Tony, IWC certainly make superb watches.
gorgeous watch, congrats!
You are clearly a man of impeccable taste
Not quite, but I do find pebble-dashing is better on the outside than in :)Originally Posted by learningtofly
Very nice pics. That's probably the best looking Inge ever.
I like it apart from the little holes in the bezel which i cannot help but think will attract dirt. Great photos.
