Love the blue dial, but it's not something I'd wear personally.
I bid on this and won it, but not sure... What you think?
The movement is nice, a Pellaton
And the case is a monoblock:
and with a nice profile
I made the bid without really thinking about it, and I was not expecting to win....So not sure....
Love the blue dial, but it's not something I'd wear personally.

Wanted - Damasko DC57
I love the look of that, but it's hard to judge the size; any chance of a wrist shot?
Ah..well..that all depends on what it cost
I like the look of it....good,70's styling. I wouldn't wear it personally because i don't tend to wear dress watches.
I like that, but that may be my OWC bias. Sort of reminds me of the Speedy Mk. II case...
Not until I got it! :blackeye:Originally Posted by mark996

The blue star burst dial looks superb and that along with the retro design just give this one a great overall look.
Looks a corker. I'd wear it!
Really like it - mesh would make it outstanding !!!
Very nice and quite cool too.
Not generally a fan of blue dialed watches, but that one looks really cool.
Not something i would wear, but it does look in lovely condition.
Definitely of its time, but very nice. I'd certainly wear it, but not on that strap. A brown leather one would transform it in my view.
Cool - looks like one of those really nice rounded pebbles you would find on the beach!
Not bad at all - I absolutely adore the blue color of the dial, and also very intrigued with the mono block construction. The make or break for me is the size - what are we looking at here ?
But overall - very nice !!
I love it, particularly the blue dial.
Here it is in the 1972 catalogue...

Austin Kaye have a silver face one for sale at the moment but the blue dial makes it far more interesting in my view.
The crown doesn't look original but the movement is a beauty.
Very nice, blue dial looks cool!Be lovely on a brown strap .
I think is lovely, good looks, beautiful blue dial and slim handset, not to mad considering its from the 1970's. I would wear it. :D
My next purchase is going to be a vintage dress watch and this just hits the spot for me. Dial colour, case, movement. Just fantastic. I'd stick with a black (possibly croc) strap or maybe find a matching blue strap.
I'd wear this to work on a regular basis too
I like it, great movement and in excellent shape.

I love it. And all the fear about blue dials? C'mon, what about these?
and these?
Nice, bit like the Omega Dynamic but alot nicer in shape
Absolutely love it, a superb design!
It's terrific. I'd take it over the one that Austin Kaye has.
That is lovely. I'd like one.
The blue dial is lovely, as is the rest of the watch! You got it for a fair price as well I must say. Congrats!
Not a fan TBH.
I think IWC's should be rather conservative and that is quite a shouty '70's style with a sucked toffee case.
Cheers,
Neil.
Nice watch a bit too 70's for me though!! I think the best IWC is the pilots UTC which I had in Platinum until finances dictated otherwise, lol!!
well done, i hope you got bargain
This really is a lovely piece José.
Great looking dial, and one of the finest movements ever produced 8)

It's funny how styles come back around - the dial colour reminds me of the latest Nomos.
Great find!
Don't have any blue dial watch yet, but this pcs look great.
Pls post some wrist shots when you have it.
Hope you have a good bargain.
