Fascinating in a car-crash sort of way  . Four episodes back-to-back.

That guy can sure eat and then some. Love to see him do something in the UK, with our all you can eat salad bars !
And
Watching it now, I want a 5/3 burger or whatever it's called :P
I love these all day tv show binges that Dave et al on Sky show. I'm pretty sure I watched an entire series of Storage Wars last weekend, yeeeepppp!
Am I the only one that when I watch this I then want to participate and get the hunger pains? The other half just feels sick when ever she watches it?
No, you're not!!Originally Posted by bomberman

I think I'll give the "shut-up juice" a miss.

Watched the first couple and taped the rest - that chilli actually looked quite good! Not a fan of the septics using ground beef though instead of nice mince
watched most of them and they leave me feeling really hungry, seems the food in the USA is at a better standard compared to our brewers fair pub slop we have in uk
ace show
Love the series :)
Could so eat a lot of the stuff on there (albeit in kids portions )....
When you look long into an abyss, the abyss looks long into you.........
Love this programme :) The super hot chicken wings rematch rules!
Check out some UK challenges:

Anyone know any more?
Program is somewhat addictive, even for me being a vegetarian but the guy sure can pack the stuff away and he's not that big given what he eats unless he visits God on the big white phone after each challenge?
He is a character which helps a lot, the programme like people have said is highly addictive though 8)
But what is that strange black rectangular watch he wears? It almost looks like a mini ghetto blaster :?
I love the drama of it...people cheering him on - it's shite tv, but in a really good sort of way :)
(I may or may not also have indulged in TOWIE - aham)
I'm not a huge fan of the challenges but I love the look of most of the stuff in the preambles. Some of the BBQ places he visits look fantastic.

The programmes make me cringe and remind me of a former g/f who is diabetic because she eats like a horse ... going out for a meal with her was quite an experience and she could never resist the largest portions of everything . She is now partially sighted (diabetes related) and still will not stop eating all the wrong foods. Every over-capacity excessive mouthful of food for her is an orgasmic experience and is accompanied by 'MMmmm ... Awwww ... Delicious.... Ohhh ... so SCRUMPCIOUS !!!" ... smacking her lips as she shovels the food in.

Great show,
have done a challange mysel:
http://www.flaminggrillpubs.com/fg/page ... e-burger/c
Two flame-grilled 12oz beef burgers
Two breaded chicken fillets
Spicy chilli beef
Melted Cheddar cheese
Onions
Crispy bacon
Onion rings
And served with a giant helping of chips!
still had enough space to fit a sharing dessert afterwatrds :D :D
Chris.
I used to do all this mad stuff with food, a visit to the curry house was always a vindaloo, tindaloo or phal and a dish of raw chillies. These days it's likely to be a madras, bhuna or jalfrezi and maybe a bit of lime pickle if I'm feeling daring. I find I sleep better this way  .

I've got into man vs food since seeing the thread here. Certain foods that they show do look good, generally it looks very fatty and in massive portions....coronary-tactic!
As has already been said I always feel ravenous by end of the prog.
I've got to check this out, my boys watch it and as someone said earlier, car crash TV,turning over to Dave now
It's a great programme and I'm left feeling hungry after watching it.
Some of the chilli challenges he does are crazy, I dread to think what his digestive systm must go through.
why is there not more on here about this!?Originally Posted by Zoomer
Besides, Adam Richman has gone soft (or just very flabby), not only has he retired from "competitive eating" but in series 4 "Man vs Food Nation" he doesn't even do the eating himself any more, he recruits locals to do it for him!

Thinking of which,
hot dog stuffed crust pizza.................................

Although I quite like the comment suggesting: "Next: two pizzas with a giant beefburger in between".
would love some of the food, the sandwiches they showed once were incredible
Can't believe how much grub this fella can put away, he only looks a wee fella too.
man v food rocks, adam is a god lol
I love the program but don't get to watch enough of it. Does anyone know if he's been to Denny's?

Cracking programme! The one where he does the giant (and I mean GIANT) pizza with his "eating buddy" (it's so big that it's a 2 man challenge) and he's doing really well himself but his buddy spews up halfway through, costing them the challenge!
The shredded pork roll....or the smokey brisket....Best job on telly imo.
not sure where he was but the ribs were the best iv'e ever seen.. drools!
I love watching that programme with my boys who shout out names of fat friends whilst watching !
On a more serious note what starts in the USA we then follow and what worries me is the other customers in the various restaurants he visits all stuffing themselves with hideous portion sizes of junk. They are adding to the type 2 diabetes explosion which is going to bankrupt the NHS
Check out Diners, Drive-Ins and DIves and on the food channel of you like Man vs Food.....
SImilar great food and visiting great places but without the challenge aspect so not quite as much fun!!!
I watched it last night and most of the stuff looked really tasty (although the portions were huge). I went to be feeling hungry :( .Originally Posted by R11

I've started recording it. I hate myself. I dislike most of the challenges, because they just seem insane, either from size or spiciness, but I like the look of almost all the 'normal' stuff they do.
the guy's apparently a gym nut (when not consuming his bodyweight!)
Adam is a great guy. Seen "real" interviews with him and he is def a chap you'd wantto hit the town with for a night out.
that Adam is the splitting image of my brother in law. I kid you not  loves his grub too. in fact his four favourite words are "all you can eat"
On an episode last week that I just watched he was at the Salt Lick in Austin, Texas. I've been there, and can attest that the ribs and brisket were pretty fantastic.
The 190lb burger on today is worthy of a thread resurrection

It is good fun to watch. Food as a circus entertainment. Some of the stuff I wouldn't touch but some looks amazing.
I think i have a healthy man type appetite, but this program makes me want to hurl chunks, christ its f***king aweful.
