Thanks for the heads-up. Does that mean Liverpool is getting an Omega boutique or is Beaverbrooks losing AD status for another reason?
Beaverbrooks in Liverpool are losing the brand (Goldsmiths to be only agent) and as a result are clearing stock with 15% off before any negotiation.
If you negotiate hard you could be the owner of this http://www.beaverbrooks.co.uk/product/1 ... er-watch-1
For 2 bags of sand and £25 - trust me, I found out this morning and it's on my wrist

It's pretty much within spitting distance of the Goldsmiths... and Robinsons... and probably Ernest Jones too
Gray
Isnt Robinson also a Omega dealer?
I'm told they've lost it as Omega want to be more exclusive and they only want 1 AD in the city, so maybe others are losing them too.
I originally phoned up to see what they could do and they said 15% over the phone, so I called Goldsmiths to see if they could better it, they told me, quite smugly, that Beaverbrooks were losing their agency and they were retaining theirs. When I was in store the stunning girl who served me confirmed it.
They also said that they'll do the 15% off when you are taking their 0% finance too so that's worth looking at! They'd have done this at £229 down and £63.75 a month over 3 years but offered a further 10% for cash.
Ps. Ernest Jones don't do Omega. I know this as I got one of those gift cards a while back from my insurance and couldn't get an Omega from them in Liverpool.
What would one ordinarily expect to negotiate from an Omega AD?
I remember someone saying they pay around 25-30% to the finance company on the interest free deal, so I would expect at least 20% for cash ordinarily?
Or am I completely off?
they dont pay anywhere near that for financeOriginally Posted by AMB

Ah OK, someone mentioned a few days ago in another thread.Originally Posted by scarto
Seems like Omega is cleaning house, followed by price rises! :(
I am surprised anywhere in Liverpool would sell such watches.
I imagine the 'second hand' market must be pretty good.
