:D Nice, I like most have the black dial only but the ivory has appeal to, just not as much as the black.
You don't see much of the ivory dial SB3 on here, so just a few to start with.

Good to see some pics of it, as you say, it doesn't feature here as much as it should.
Nice option, even if I prefer the classic style - but thats a matter of taste as ever.
Difficult to pick a favourite really...
Now you've gone and done it, i feel i need the full set.Originally Posted by Seabadger
Not difficult at all IMHO, the non GMT with the black dial is by far the best.............Originally Posted by Seabadger
I have to agree with that ,but have'nt seen Ivory dialmin real life though.
The black dial version is a superb aviation watch.
That's a fantastic photo, some professional photography on this site.Originally Posted by IANAN

I've toyed with getting the ivory version quite a few times. I like it every time I see it. Trouble is, I'd be tempted to take it off the bracelet and put it on leather...
having owned both, the ONLY reason i flipped the ivory dialled one was it needed servicing (stated in the ad i hasten to add!) and the black one didn't! i couldn't justify owning both at this time but at some point i will again...they really do have a different presence to each other!

I must admit i bought this watch with the intention of wearing it on leather, even after reading all the comments on how good the bracelet was.Originally Posted by nitsy
I still can't bring myself to change to leather, the bracelet really is that well made and looks fantastic. Maybe one day i'll buy either the black dial or GMT version, allowing the ivory to go on leather.
Ah, another inadvertent LE owner. Oddly enough (and this isn't meant as a slight against any other PRS watches) the ivory SBIII is very accurate so the non-hacking aspect isn't half as annoying as it could otherwise have been.Yeah thanks for that, its on my wrist and has been since you sold me it. Really tempted to pull the trigger on one of these. If I an sell the mk xv I may well do it.
Go for the GMT version. The ETA 2893-2 is a great movement. I have 2 watches using this movement and both have been very accurate out of the box. If one, I would chalk it up to luck, but two is the beginning of a trend.
I don't suppose anyone's got any photos of theirs on leather?!

If it wasn't for all the greedy buggers hoovering up watches yesterday and breaking the shop, I would have ordered one myself! Even now with the choice of black or ivory I think ivory will be good with the GMT, then I'll look out if a black 1-50 ever appears for sale
