I was afraid of that. Rules me out. The domed acrylic is just far too much of a door magnet on my wrist. I have to treat my PRS 53 so carefully and have already put a scrape in my PRS-5. :?
Edit. Just noticed my post count is palindromic. I may never post again...
i dont think this will stand proud like the 5 though, it looks like a wrist hugger.Originally Posted by Glamdring

LOL, not today's Wednesday, timefactors isn't open till Wednesday. I just read about Eddies printer woes! All I can say is arrrgg!!
The waiting is killing me! Do I buy the CAF? Don't I? Is it in my budget this month or next? Now no printer! Arrg, I need a beer!! :drunken:

I am unexpectedly glad of the wait as recent events mean my money pot has been expended on boring household stuff !
)OK, I've sold 4 watches this past week, oartly to thin down the collection, but also to free up some money for this watch. So bring it on (please :)
I'm guessing that shipping so many different models would require more hours of sobriety per day than Eddie is willing to commit to.
I stopped drinking at the beginning of January and haven't felt the need to restart (yet) .Originally Posted by jtbold

Almost the inverse of the MKii experience, watch completed, demand in place and customers hovering over 'add to basket', just need them to arrive!
Wonder how many paid preorders would cover Eddies cash flow to get them in....
I don't think the delay is because of cash flow but the manufacturer's speed challenge.Originally Posted by Hubs

Well, given the time passed since the original CAF proposal - years - it must be worthwhile or we'd have given up by now!
or, based on the stanford marshmallow experiment, the capacity to wait for something desired is a sign of good emotional intelligence and an indicator of success in life.

Eddie's teaching us to be better people..
Wow!!! Now that we have waited for ten years, does it mean we can get two CAFs for the price of one? :bounce:Originally Posted by Hubs

I won't take them into stock before 1 April, I don't want to increase the value of stock for the end of year tax return. The self-employed on this forum will understand  .

Indeed. Although 'taking into stock' and actually having the items in my possession didn’t always coincide IIRC. :wink:Originally Posted by swanbourne

If you put it up for sale on the 1st of April no one will beleive it is real! LOL Everyone will think it is an April Fools joke!

In the spirit of the forum, I'd be happy to look after a CAF during the stocktake...
Or....good year to change your year end to February 29...only have to do accounts every 4 years!
It's good to have a target date so I know when to be online and when to have the funds ready! :D
