Oh dear.
Taggarts face indeed a picture again. He looks more like a Ribena berry every match.
Johnny Evans for England..

Proud Gooner here, but still quite shocked at the thought of no Man U beyond the group stage. It's obvious they're a team in transition at the moment, and in any case Ferguson doesn't really have anything left to prove. For Citeh, a bump down to reality, but they did have some very tough competition (e.g. Napoli have been very underrated by many IMHO).
I don't think Gooners can be too complacent after some of our our slapstick comedy antics on the pitch on Tuesday, even 'though it was a largely a second team playing in Greece. Then again we have proven we can beat Barcelona at home, even 'though it counted for little in the end.
The craziest is Lyon which needed a victory and a loss of Ajax AND a 7 goal difference to fill.

Much wailing in Stockport too.
when you think of the quality players who have left / retired in the past few years
Ronaldo
Tevez
Scholes
Neville
Van der Saar
have any of them been properly replaced?
WTF was Southgate on about ?
"They have lost the spine of the team, Beckham"
How long has he been asleep for ?
Err Southgate said that? What a plonker! How much silverware have they racked up since he left - quite a lot I imagine!Originally Posted by blackie

What's funnier still is baconface reckons he's not buying anyone in the transfer window. All I say is "Good luck!"..you're gonna need it if you want a trophy this season!

the reason being is he has no spondulicks, the yanks are siponing it away bit by bit, the guys he sold he did not replace, the retired a keeper to bring in a butterfingers with nothing behind the belly button.

Though when he said that, United were still in the CL. So buying anyone of quality in January would have been pointless as they would (should) be cup-tied. But I'm sure you knew that 8)Originally Posted by scarto
Lying second in the league at this stage of the season (when United usually kick on in the New Year) behind a team who has never went the whole way - I'd say a trophy is well within grasp.

Fixed that for you.

I don't think either Barcelona or Real Madrid play in the Premier League...unless of course you're referring to the Gunners
Apparently, following the failure of both Manchester teams to make it to the qualifying rounds of the Champions League this season,
there is to be a minutes laughter at all Premiership grounds this weekend!!
