I've just had a punt on an Arsenal win at 8/11 on with a side bet on a Van Persie hatrick.
Gooners all the way....... :D
im going to be confidant and go for 2:1 . gooners arent really on form at the moment are they?
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.

Come on City!
However the record suggests not - Arse have won at Carrow Road on their last 11 visits
Hopefully all change tomorrow :drunken:
we dont recreate history, we make history!!!
come on you sons of mustard!!!
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
I'll side with The Canaries because, until she got pregnant, my sister was a steward there. In fact, she was the mascot before that, jumping around in a big Canary suit! Pretty blonde chick, looks like a less extreme version of Rebecca Adlington!
Compared to earlier in the season, yes they are :)Originally Posted by seikopath

Aye, you should have played them in August.Originally Posted by village

Arsenal seem to be coming good now and are on a bit of a roll at the moment, it should be an easy win for them.
depends on how much of RVP's oh wait eerrm i mean 'our' good form  we carry though from the international break RVP only played one on friday and has been back at Arsenal HQ reseting, Theo had a little jog out and played well within himself for England probably under strict orders todo so, Ramsey had a stormer for wales mind.
I fancy us to win 3-0 after a initial lathargic period of 20mins where we look well of the pace
Norwich are good at home but I can't seen anything other than an Arse win.
Cheers,
Neil.
I'm going tomorrow (away end!) and will disappointed if we don't get 3 points, although anything more than a win by one will be most appreciated. We're a bit short at right back it seems, so a slow centre half playing there ain't good!
Remember Chelsea?..........look what happened to the runaway favourites in that one........
You are right of course, Rebecca Adlington is extreme looking.Originally Posted by Spencer Lee
I still would though.

Its all about goal difference and would be happy with a good show from us and 2-0 to the Arse.
Having said this I remember Manc Poo's visit during our last prem campaign. The winning goal at the river end (I was in that end of the Jarrold) was the most manic minute of my life.
I will be there with wifey and little son Block N in the Jarrold....as I have been for lots of seasons now..
OTBC
3-1 ARSENAL
GOOOONNNNEEERRRSSS!!!!
By all accounts you should be 4-1 up but we are hanging in there and I'd have taken 1-1 at half time any day of the week!
Yeah, we carved you apert a few time in the first half...Hope we can finish you off in the second....(sorry)!
VAN PERSIIIEEEEEE!!!!
Norwich doing OK though
Van Persie is my fantasy football captain... so result. :D
Cheers,
Neil.
We tried! At least it wasn't an embarrassing score line

Total dominance..............but let Norwich in the game and never really closed it out. The Ref (Dowd) gave a lot of non-fouls (Asst Ref didn't flag) when NCGC players 'fell over' and the Asst on our side missed numerous offsides (when MCFC scored!).
Nice people there and an attractive city too. Right pain to get to/from though!
Unlucky. Very nearly a nice little earner for you.Originally Posted by Top Cat

It was looking like a very good bet, shame VP didn't get a third goal. My watch fund will only have a small deposit this week.Originally Posted by CaptainVlak
Nervous last few minutes because we missed too many chances but 3 points away from home.
Good result, next stop Champions league Wednesday.
Van the man
Does anyone understand what Paul Lambert is saying ?
I have a great deal of trouble understanding his accent and he was brought up 25 miles from me.
I've no bother understanding him, then again I'm a weegie  One of the very best players to come out of Scotland in the recent era and the only Scotsman to win the champions league with a foreign team, marking Zidane right out of the game in the final. He's doing a cracking job at Norwich so far, however I think he'll go on to bigger things, possibly back in Germany with Borussia Dortmund. I'd love to see him back at Celtic one day but I fear he's headed way above us.Originally Posted by MFB Scotland

Yep. Arsenals squad have been pretty meh with Mertesacker looking a liablility.
RVP playing out of his skin is making the difference. Fantastic goal rate.
