I wonder if there are gaskets for the case after the regulation/service?
i have just recieved a NOS 1971 aquastar benthos 500 , it's in perfect condition but is a tad slow, does anyone know if these watches can be regulated?

If that nos of 1971 : the watch need a service cause the oil is to old.
Dynamo
its been serviced by the previouse owner in 2004 when it was authenticated
A tad slow is meaningless ... time the watch over a number of days, to see if the rate is stable ... if it is, then it's worth regulating it ... if not, then more work will be needed.Originally Posted by itaioron

Costume jewellery. Ouch!!!
never figured how to upload images, it apears to be concisitant and it's practically new so i would be surprised if it needs more than regulating, however its an old work (not even hack) so i do not know if it can be regulated.
If it is running consistantly, then it can be regulated. Even movements made a very long time ago had the ability to be regulated. On some it is more difficult than on others.Originally Posted by itaioron
