Blimey, sounds like he reached almost 4000 revs at one point.

Shows how easy it is lose grip in one though
After seeing how they handle Im cancelling my order and going for the Skoda Yeti instead
 lucky guy..
Fas est ab hoste doceri
So it's not just Fernando and Felippe who are having problems driving them fast ...
Looking at his cap / race suit he's a stereotypical Ferrari owner.
All the gear........

if that was England it would have been an MR2 with a body kit.
People showing jeaolusy  So what if he's not a great driver. He's having fun and he seems like a down-to-earth humble guy. Everybody likes to think they're a great driver and very few people are. It's funny because few people think they're great at snooker, tennis, golf or any other sport, but driving, yeah we're all Gods.
That is a very tough race! There are usually some very good drivers who fail to finish. He was having a go, good on him.
I usually follow Jim Kenzie's exploits over at Wheels.ca for the Targa. Don't know if he's been doing it this year.
Cheers
Peter
Did you watch the same video as everyone else? A guy with a beard like that, wearing full Ferrari overalls, driving an Enzo, could never be called down-to-earth or humble. :lol:Originally Posted by marcus fenix

Well thats the risk you take when you race expensive cars. :iroc:
I wonder if it will ever run again after that water in the engine. They are not the most realiable in the first place
I love the navigator's comment at about a minute in ... this is just a boo boo
I thought he sounded OK - he races his ferrari regularly and so he wears a ferrari race suit, I would not judge him harshly for that or wish him or his car any harm!Originally Posted by andy tims
Fast cars need 4wd. Simple.
Should stick to a proper race track, far safer and usually not covered in gravel with water features....
What does that suppose to mean,... there should have been blood spilled and the car a complete write-off?Originally Posted by Foxy100

It isn't how I would want my Enzo to look if I was lucky enough to own one but I certainly don't want the car damaged because of that.
Looks like a bit of jealousy from the OP perhaps?
Having been on many, many track days & seen loads of Ferrari driving posers may have influenced my view.Originally Posted by Nugget
Utter crap. Even the fastest cars have vs better grip to power ratio than fast bikes. Shit drivers need 4WD, not fast cars.Originally Posted by tmilligan

How would you know, when was the last time you took your car down the highway at 180 MPH+, I thought there was a speed limit to the "Autobahn" in the UK ?Utter crap. Even the fastest cars have vs better grip to power ratio than fast bikes. Shit drivers need 4WD, not fast cars.
Not all that long ago actually :wink:Originally Posted by Geronimo

well done Andy, caught me with my pants down...I didn´t recognise it as a GT3 :D
Nice bit of motorcar, if I may add!
I´ll race you the next time im in the UK with this...
No and yes. These cars are horrible shouty LOOK AT ME things. Ferrari don't make desirable cars anymore, the 458 looks good but is so powerful you tell the car where it's going and does everything else for you, especially keeping you from crashing. Ferrari won't now let anyone figure their cars without a squad of technicians and a test driver there to set up the car perfectly. It would be interesting to see how many 458 drivers can get the same performance out of their stock production cars. The FXX was a blatant marketing ploy to massage the egos of and cream a large amount of money from a lot of very rich owners. Yes, it was supposedly a tool for Ferrari to find out what their owners want (maybe that is why the 458 has so many safety features?) but why does Ferrari need to be told how to make cars? Although the Ferrari Edsel does have a ring to it.Originally Posted by Geronimo
I take great offence at whoever suggested I was jealous. Of Andy's GT3, definitely. Of a modern Ferrari? Not in the slightest (ok, I love the 550 but aside from that you have to go back to the F40).
Interesting that you think I might want to see blood. Or were you just looking for an argument?

Cool vid, good way of learning what not to do
Why should I look for an argument? I´ve owned the 328 GTS and a 512 TR in the past, so I´m biased anyway...I love those gorgeous things...Originally Posted by Foxy100
