hi matt. welcome aboard.
I've been lurking for a couple of weeks and finally took the plunge....
I've been collecting pocket watches for a decade or two, mainly English and from 1700 to about 1930. Recently, I started to get involved in wristwatches and have a few IWCs from around 1947 to late 60's, but I'm slowly working round to getting something more recent maybe by IWC or Audemars Piguet.

Hi Matt, welcome to the forum :)
Good morning to you. Welcome to the forum. :)
F.T.F.A.
Here's a starter - Frans Pheilps, London approx 1720. Diameter 62mm, thickness 35mm.
Apologies for the random colour casts & depth of field - my 11 year old sons seem to have taken anything that can be used to support a camera (to make lego star wars stop motion videos, in case you wondered).
When I get myself sorted out I'll post some better photos.
Welcome to the forum. Thanks for posting the photos, it's always nice to see some pocket watches on the forum.
regards,
Nick
Hi Matt, welcome and enjoy.
Hi Matt,
Welcome - those look very nice, works of art even.
Cheers,
Ian.
Thanks - I started off collecting movements which, to my eyes, are beautiful - made by a trade consisting largely of many small workshops specialising in one very small task. No interchangeable parts, very little if any expensive machinery, just a lot of very skilled hand work.
Welcome to the forum and many thanks for posting the photos - a lovely piece!
Hi Matt - I too fancy an AP next! (Once funds permit!)
Welcome from another newbie. 8)
Missed this last week; lovely pocket watch. Amazing to see a chain-driven fusee in something so small. Out of interest, what is the escapement?
(and welcome! Please show some more of your collection, it's great to see some old stuff).
Hi!
Beautiful watches.... and beautiful photos as well.
Hi! Nice watches,.
Welcome.
Very nice watches. Now I have no idea if this is worth the money or not but it may be worth a look.

Not the first place to look for watches, but there is some bargains to be found as I reckon some stores dont do very good research into the value of pieces.
Welcome :-)
