Having said that, my "have"-list is limited as I do not have much time or money on my hand, therefore I focus on current issue watches and their close replicas: The Marathon Navigator-G (a current issue watch, alas without the date function), the Traser P 6500 (a replica/re-issue of the SandY P 650; mine has a date function which I need for daily life) and I am looking hard at a G10 version, but am currently confused about the different versions. I want either the genuine current issue one, but before I decide I want to look at what Eddie has in the making in the PRS-series. Like the Speedbird-design, the G10 is a generic MoD design, and I want a reliable G10-type more than an issue watch that breaks down on me (the stories about the Pulsar).
To me, serviceability and replaceability are important, hence I tend so stay on the cheap side of the range. I am not so much a collector as a user who enjoys those qualities combined with a heritage design. But I admire those who can say "if you like the look of a Rolex, buy a Rolex and not a replica." My bank disagrees, though
Best regards,
