Ralph Waldo Emerson: We ask for long life, but 'tis deep life, or noble moments that signify. Let the measure of time be spiritual, not mechanical.
:?: Perhaps an Orwellian Animal Farm :?:
I met long time ago a breeder of fighting cocks. An old man
than exported them to Central and South America.
Raised them in a kind of farm where lived huge cats and other wildlife.
The breeding was kind of most natural, the hens hatched the eggs; nothing of incubators, etc.
Well, when the chicks were born the hens walked with their chicks freely
around eating only what they found in the soil, etc.
 Well, neither the cats nor the other fauna dare to attack the chicks by fear of the hens
Similar story on the local news tonight. A man out hunting on marshland was found dead. Nothing suspicious, heart attack or somehting......but you cannot help thinking "ducks revenge"
Shooting game birds is not quite the same as organizing and attending cock fights.Originally Posted by clockwatcher

blaming the bird is just blatant sci-fi.
just my thoughts.
juictice i suppose!
Such poetic justice, a cock being killed by a cock!
