Very nice, I'm loving the display back there.
Well, a lot of folk were wondering what i would replace the AP with, the answer is below
Very nice, I'm loving the display back there.
Lovely display back...is the movement quite small in the one?
The movement is about 27mm in diameter, so about average for this type of movement. It looks very nice, but it's quite a basic movement, nothing fancy about it.
Just lovely.
The trouble is, I'm starting to find these APs hard to resist :(

That's a beauty!
The non-chrono version looks best IMHO :)

Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!

What is the name of the model please?

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Automatic, it's usually know as the AP RO, or the 15300 (or 15300ST).
It's a cracker 8)

Congratulations! :)
Been thinking about that one myself lately, I like it a lot.

Very nice, used to own one myself and that's the best dial combination for me.
I'll take 2 months in the 'when your going to sell it' sweepstake. :-)

Clean and classic look. The white dial is definietly stunner :)
Really, she quite a large lady your wife then? :shock:Argee1977 Wrote:No point, all i'll get offered is dodgy looking Daytona's again, even the wife things they're a little too feminine
Congrats mate, a cracker. You still need a panerai though
I like the reduced thickness of that. I saw a model without seconds hand which was even thinner. a 5 digits euro price, unfortunately
Really like it... Congrats on the new arrival
I was wondering what you were going to get as a replacement.
Very nice. Very classy and nice clean dial adds to the class IMHO. One of the few AP's I like

One of my dream watches. Grats..
Congrats on the new arrival, are you still planning on adding a Panerai or IWC too? 8)
I was thinking about it, but other things are coming up, i might not be able to get another watch without having to sell more, it's a bit of a pain that the car cost me a grand the other week as i had it all planned out, still, it's my fault for actually having a plan
Nice watch!
Ignore Shalako.... he hasn't got a wife... large or otherwise! ;-)
PS. I looked at your ROC and would have made an offer had I not just bought this...
Very nice. :)
Th chronr version was nice but this is a very impressive replacement 8)
One day I will have to try out an AP.............................
A gorgeous piece. Tried one on in T5 a few months back (albeit with a blue face) - with a suit there are very few watches which compete with its overall comfort and aesthetics.
Its beauty is in its simplicity.
Grail material for me anyway - wow!
Enjoy it mate.

The Safari is my favourite ROO version... but I favour white dials (I know it's "ivory"). Similarly the white dial RO/RO Chrono is "silver"... but appears white and is equally stunning.
Size is all relative... I had a 47mm Panerai and loved it and thought I could not go "small" again... but now I adore my 39.5mm Sea Dweller as much, if not more. You've got to try and see I guess.
Enjoy the RO... simple, classic and stunning IMO.
