Hola chap!
Just a quickie to introduce myself as a new member.
My real name's Ian but just about everyone calls me Grover. Hello all.
I live near Bristol, am a TVR nut, and becoming that way with watches. I don;t have anything to brag about yet but hoping to expand my meagre selection.
Daily wearer (usually - flat battery as of last week) - posh one for evenings (daily at the mo and loving it) - gadget/toy fun.
Have several others, mostly Seiko and a few others I ought not to mention in this company.
Looking forward to learning more about these fantastic pieces of miniature engineering and hopefully buying a few too.
Hola chap!
Welcome Grover, you may be interested in a local meet we have coming up next week: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=106951

Thanks again to all for the warm welcome.
Much appreciated.
Welcome to the mad house , can get a bit challenging trying live a normal life once you discover this place!
I've just noticed that you live in Chicken Sodomy :D
I've been pissed there more times than I care to remember.
I don't suppose you know Fub ?, he's a big bloke who looks like Billy Connolly and Bill Baileys gay love child
Sorry dude, I don't know anyone called Fub, but the picture you paint is familiar. Shortish, maybe 5'9"/10", balding on top with long straggly dark hair, longish goatee, salad dodging type? I see someone fitting that description from time to time, probably Royal Oak or The George. I'll ask next time I see him.Originally Posted by catflem
Thats the guy, and a pretty damn accurate summing up as well :lol:Originally Posted by lordgrover

It's just a matter of time...
Welcome!
Another PHer to the fold!
Welcome - plenty of TVR fans on here :)
Welcome, think your so called "meagre" collection is well chosen so far!
Hello and welcome! :D
Interesting that your are a TVR nut. I'm not one, even though I respect the brand very much. I have only seen TVRs 2 times in flesh and both cars were on a trailer after they had crashed at the Nurburgring :(
Apols for dragging this back from the dead.Originally Posted by catflem
Saw him not longer after this post and said Hi for you. There was a band on in the Oak so it was more a shouted exchange but he knew who I was on about.
