Hi guys,

Had someone reverse into my new car a couple of weeks ago, at our work carpark.
Hasn't caused structural damage but there's a decent sized ding over 3 panels of the rear bumper. When this has happened to my older cars I've always been happy to have it repaired at a local bodyshop, but it's 5 months old, from new (BMW i4 M50, so to me, it's a relatively expensive car). Would it be wrong to demand a new bumper from the guy who dinged it? Just feel that if I was to accept a repair job, I'd feel hard done seeing as it's a brand new car.
What would I reasonably expect from his insurers?
