I was very careful not to make any claims about what has or has not transpired here. Or what does or does not constitute doxing.

(b) Can you specify the section(s) of the DPA 2018 that you think prevent publishing of personally collected information in this context?

I think this would probably come under article 8 of the Human Rights Act and the murky world of case law, Campbell vs MGN for example, not DPA. The law is not explicitly defined in this area but precedent does seem to suggest that publishing private information without permission is illegal, except in some very specific circumstances.

I think what I’ve said is right, although a lawyer may know better.
