Last year, I had a conversation with an older gentleman down the road. He's retired and he's a beekeeper. He has the hives on his own grounds and the bees tend to find honey around the hives. I asked him about what type of flowers I should sow to attract bees in the Summer.

He gave me a list and a few websites where I could order pre-packed bundles of domestic (is that the correct term here?) flower seeds. April would be the perfect time to sow them. I've ordered bundles of seeds for about 250m2 and I'm sowing it later this week, when the weather will improve (it's absolutely soaking wet here at the moment).

Bees have a hard life nowadays. A bundle of seeds doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Perhaps it's an idea to get a few bundles of seeds so that you can sow them one of these weeks.
