This link might be useful for some of you. It's a link to the Loake shoes factory outlet website. I've purchased from there and it seems legit.

Winter boots are available from there...

Can’t abide jeans with turn ups normally. If they’re too long I get them altered. Always look like charity shop jeans to me because you couldn’t choose the right size.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
I’ve got a really good tip for people who don’t like jeans that have been rolled up at the bottom and that is don’t roll them up.
I don't usually like people making annoying remarks.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
Really enjoying the comfort of the chukkas, so when these popped up in the sale for over 60% off, it was a no brainer.
No turn-ups on the jeans for those easily offended!
Mainly using the dark brown pair for work, and the light tan is a much better colour for civvy street.
I’ve been reading this thread over and over for a while, trying to decide on a pair of boots. My last pair were Panama Jacks, but after a couple of years they’re leaking (even though goretex) and the soles are cracking. I did get good use out of them, but decided I’d like something better. Lots of lovely boots on this thread and I was leaning towards the Iron Rangers, but then I saw some similar style Cheaney ones and thought, why not. I have a pair of Cheaney work shoes and after 3 years they still look almost new. I also like the fact they’re still handmade in Britain.
Very happy with them :) and as soon as I can work out how to post a photo, I will
I currently have some Cheaney Tweed C and Trickers Henry's with commando soles for the coming winter. I've also picked up some Tricker Stows in grey suede with dainite soles but think they'd be for drier days only. Boots have been the new watches for me recently .
