Nice. My Dad has the Z4M Roadster in (I think) Imola Red - a deep red anyway. I'm not into German cars, except maybe some of the big engined Mercs, but the Z4M has a certain charm to it, dare I say it, it's like a German TVR! It's an utter dog in 'Sport' mode though.Originally Posted by thattallchap
If I was to walk away from TVRs it would be into a Z4M Coupe. 8)

Really? Does it have the carbon intake? I've never heard a Z4m sound like a CSL. That would be an amazing combo. I do miss my CSL. Waaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggggghhhhhhhhtttttt!!!!Originally Posted by thattallchap

And for when it's not....
Very nice, I nearly bought one of those (it's a popular conversion with the drift boys) - bought a E39 M5 instead.Originally Posted by Taff

As for the noise, man its dirty, i get a semi every time i drive her!
Totally standard at the moment (380bhp) but with a remap and exhaust they easily produce 450bhp so that's on the cards in the new year :twisted:Originally Posted by cmcm3
It's a slipperly slope mate once you start. I used to own Skyline GT-R's and I shudder to think the amount I spent on tuning. I nearly bought an RS4 myself a couple of years ago but opted for a B6 S4 instead knowing that there would be no point tuning the N/A V8 - I know if I bought a B5 RS4 that I wouldn't be able to control myself :mrgreen:Originally Posted by Jonmurgie

Merry Christmas All! :bigsmurf:
Brilliant cars, I've had a Mk5 version for about 6 months now and am loving it, especially the noise when you wind it up! Need to take it on a bit of a European road trip next. Also been very impressed with how it has performed in the snow this year. Very sure-footed.

After trying all the usual big 4x4s (X5, RRS etc.) to replace my 635d and CRV with one car, I finally settled on this...

Hi all
im looking for a nice second hand auto car for the misses and have spotted a well spec'd 05 plate BMW 330 cd m sport with 75k on the clock and up untill the last one full bmw service history
the ONLY problem is that if the wife was to buy it she would be the 5th owner in as many years, teh dealer said the car was orginaly a demo car so that discounts 1 owener - but my question is 5owners in as many years too much ?
much thanks as we need a car asap
I drive a car, and on the very odd occasion, a van.
I'd say yes. Why does no-one want to keep hold? Its a buyer's market - move on!Originally Posted by j17ykp

yeah i guess not but i didnt want to start a new threadOriginally Posted by Optimum
the only thing is the last owner has had the car for 2 years and the first owner was a BMW dealer as it was an ex-demo car im wondering why the 2 owners in the middle kept it for such a short time frame (maybe different dealers) i think i need to investiage this further.
That is remarkable...and correct! We drove around Scotland for 3 weeks, loved it. Driving that car on those roads was perfect. She's in the shop getting a Rotrex compressor fitted this week :twisted:Originally Posted by pinpull
