hi and welcome to the forum
I just wanted to say hi to everybody. I have been lurking on this forum for over a year now but each time I tried to register for some odd reason it would not allow me until today.
So a little about me:
I'm am a London based engineer, working currently on the biggest project in Europe. I have owned a number of decent watches over the years mainly Rolex, DJ, Explorer 1 & 2, GMT and most recent the last of the non ceramic ND Sub which I sold due to a pending house purchase. I have over the past several month had a big hankering after a Pam, so a friend leant me his Pam 111 for the last month or so and I was hooked! So at the start of this week I placed a deposit on a Panerai 390, I love the clean lines, chocolate dial and gold coloured hands, and the best part it should be in my possession tomorrow hopefully!
Anyway enough about me.
hi and welcome to the forum
Welcome  and please, show us your collection please
As soon as my Pam 390 turns up I will post pictures, unfortunately I had to sell everything else to fund a house purchase, and although I currently has a Pam 111 it's a friends and I need to hand it back so seems pointless as it's not mine. I have to say the Pam 111 has been an absolute please to wear.
So whats the biggest project in Europe?
No it's not London Bridge redevelopment, I was based there for a short while prior to moving over to crossrail. London bridge is around £400 million, however rumour has it it will top £900m when finished, crossrail on the other hand is just over £14 billion, as cost saving exercises have reduced it from the original £15 odd billion.
