Been discussed here a few times. If you do use one, be sure to wear gloves and be careful where the fibres end up. They are nasty.

How good are these? worth a tenner to remove braclet scratches?

Why not give a try to Scotch pads...it's very nice but be gentle of course.
Imo a waste of time!
I got one from Maplin last year - tried it (thankfully not on an expensive watch) and found that the brushed effect it gave was very different to that of the watch. I am sure it can work on the right watch but I wouldn't use it again without having received a specific recommendation for the watch in question.
They are useless unless you refurb the entire watch - the cleaned up area ends up looking worse than the scratch
That was exactly my experience as well.Originally Posted by clockwatcher
I had one but the effect was not as good as with the green side of a scotchbrite pad.

Oks for a very small area, BUT you wont generally get an OEM look.
It'll depend on the brushed finish in the first place, you may be lucky and get it bang on, worth a try, just do it where it doesn't show first.
