I've been down this road before but I'm still looking for a quartz diver's watch to buy new or nearly new and keep and wear regularly for the foreseeable future,

My favourite of Eddie's quartz divers is the PRS17-Q but the date issue means that I can never be completely happy with it. I don't get on with the bezel on the PRS-18Q and having sold my old PRS-3 for £80, £300 for a replacement is too much of a heart breaker.

Seems unlikely that there will be a new PRS-3Q in the near future and even if there is I suspect it will share the bezel problems of the 18Q. So I've been looking at alternatives.

I don't like Seiko or Citizen styling I find the price and potential ongoing service cost of the Sinn UX a bit scary. The Seamaster Professional is bit too blingy..........

So any suggestions? I'd like to spend less than £400 and the absolute max is £700.
