    Hi Peter
    hope this helps
[quote]The four points of the compass are marked on the rotating lunette, enabling the wearer to orient himself by locating north from the time on the watch.
Instructions for use: with the hour hand directed to the sun, turn the lunette to position the point corresponding to north half way between the hour hand and the 12 o’clock index on the dial. If the hour hand indicates 10 o’clock, north is at 5 o’clock. If it’s at 4 o’clock, north is at 8 o’clock/quote]
Have a look here for specs on the watch

It's just an anonymous old trench-style - quite a big one at nearly 40mm - probably impossible to identify the maker.
Don't know if the movement would give any clues.....

    Cheers :)

Gorgeous! Is that an original dial or a reproduction?

AFAIK Peter i'm just sticking to Eddie's rules of pic size - 640 x 480.

It just came in a bit under though.

Got full size ones somewhere if you want them emailing.

Sorry, was not aware pictures should be included. Can not imagine that my picture quality would impress anybody.

cruz - The whole thread is full of pictures - might have given you a clue.

But what does this mean - I'm confused

I've had it a month!! Not even paid yet as its on a visa card. Trawled the www since seeing it on a strap in TSS site. Finally found it, last one in stock, in a E shop in Germany. used google translation bar to help do the deal, found they were in Amazon.de, my Amazon.co.uk pass word worked and it was mine in 4 days through DHL!! Now for a strap, althought it looks and feels good on one of Eddies canvas jobs!

    Regards
