As always... Price point? :?
There was a post on here about a week ago about Modalo (watch winder boxes) circa £100 +p&p from the bay.... guess what I have asked Father Christmas for! :D

but Dulwich do a none winder box which accomodates cufflinks too

Budget plays a huge part with these purchases though, a bit like the items that seem to get a lot of airtime on this forum! :D
Liking the look of those Modalo watch winder/boxes - might just ask Santa for one of those :)
You still believe in him too? :DOriginally Posted by CmdrBond
I wish Santa had more money to spend on me though!... I dream of Speedie (pro)

Sorry! Back on topic!.... :D
Just ordered one of Rainer's. It's in the post (and may be for some time) so can't comment on the quality yet but others on here seem pleased and his communication is excellent:

Another vote for Rainers boxes, great quality, reasonable price and can accomodate the DS and PAMs no botherOriginally Posted by 2wrists
I've got two of his 3 box versions as well. Not the cheapest, but lovely quality of build and materials and definitely worth it if you've spent a few bob on your watches.Originally Posted by BigD
I Picked up one of these from Strap Culture, very nice :)

I have had the modalo winder before and whilst it worked and looked OK the quality wasnt good viewtopic.php?f=5&t=38922&hilit=winder. I have one of Rainers boxes and they look great, are very solid and will last forever, I would buy from him again.
I posted about Rainer's box in this thread (very happy with mine)

Other than that great - about 1000 times better than my Rapport - which broke after about 6 months.

I have one of Rainer's carbon boxes - for the price, you will find it very difficult to fault; however, his wider boxes are better if you collect 42mm+ watches.
i have one of these and i am really happy with it.

OVERPRICED ,
gotta be better ,cheaper deals
not what i paid
I've got one of the Modalo winders mentioned earlier in the thread.
Overall, it is a great little winder - price was good, quality is fine for what I need it for. It done have a very quiet 'whirry' noise as it rotates, but it's not kept in the bedroom so it doesn't bother me. I didn't want the 6 cushions in the front, but did have a few sets of cufflinks, so I got some foam, and cheap vinyl/fake leather. A bit of playing about, and made up some inserts which I keep some of my links in - looks quite presentable I think.
