As I've posted previously I bought my wife a gold / stainless datejust for our first Christmas together 22 years ago. In that time she has only removed it when its been serviced. Well its away again at the moment and she's complaining about the cheap quartz she's been given as a loaner. So I bought her a Seiko 4205 Lady Diver and it arrived from Hong Kong this morning. She loves it!
This could get expensive!

When you look long into an abyss, the abyss looks long into you.........
Readers wives, now there's an idea for a forum :D
Hi ,
Approach with caution,my other hobby is target shooting, and getting swmbo involved in
that has taken many excuses over the years.Remember being on the range once with a
husband and wife team, a heated discussion started, not good at the best of times wit people
around you dont know, but really bad when thier both clutching rifles!!!!! very embarasing.
But main reason is definately financial, all of my mates cant wait for one of us to
pop off, because we can then buy his kit fo what he told his wife it was worth Bargain
I try to avoid my girlfriend at all costs. If she starts popping up on chat forums that I frequent- thats it.I tell her about the night I spent
with her best mate Shirly.
:director: Kav says,
TZ-UK'rs do TZ-UK things. :D
SWMBO's do SWMBO things.
Horrific is the thought of a Petticoats and Perfume section on here, as if Eddie does not have enough to do keeping us boys in order!
:occasion5:
Never going to show my girlfriend this site otherwise she'll spend the mortgage money :P
My wife would never come near here. She's says we are all perverts getting off on 'watch porn'!
We're fetishists according to my wife
I say good - I think the forum could do with a few more lady contributors.
Fortunately my wife has no idea what it is I see in the vintage watches and classic cars I buy. If she did and was thus paying attention, she'd have a heart attack at the money I have tied up in them! LOL!
Actually she is pretty good - has a lovely Oris Mile Franklin she flogs as her daily beater and a really pretty gold Longines Conquest I bought her about 15 years ago that is her dress watch and looks brand spanking new to this day.
So she kind of gets the watch appreciation side of things, but has no concept of the values - lucky for me!
Don't let you wife come near this forum... See Zambo's first paragraph for the reason... Very valid reasons, if I may add... :wink:Originally Posted by zambo

Actually, my wife thinks I'm surfing porn.
It's just easier to tell her that than the truth. . .
(And heaven forbid she'll find out what I've really been spending. . . )
My wife trawls the George & Dragon, and the boys room on a daily basis, and then sends all the good jokes (no matter how filthy they are) to her mates
Burrotaxi - if your wife loves the 4205, wait until she sees the 2205 divers. I've just got the wife a NOS 2205-0649 case, I'm now suffering all sorts of grief from her because I haven't got a movement for it yet !.
It's the same as this one
