Chrono Avenger Strap options *UPDATED - RUBBER IS ON!*

Okay, I've mocked up (or cocked up..

) some strap options for my recently arrived CA.
Your opinions are most welcome, so please vote away!
(Worksimon will have expired with laughter by the time he's read this far :twisted: and I'll probably try them all at some time, I suppose, so just looking for a bit of feedback)

Black Rubber

Black Leather (yes I know it's too wide but it's the only spare one I've got :drunken: )

Brown Leather

Not voted since this is not a simple answer for me.

If you want to wear it on a strap then for me this one would be on the Breitling rubber, however there may be occasions when a bracelet is better.

So I would have this as the option(s).

Out of those options I went for the bracelet... though I enjoyed wearing my CA on leather most of the time... before I discovered Rich's straps I had it on a dark brown Hirsch Liberty:

But then ended up sticking with a black Toshi with white stitching... the thickness of the strap really working well with the lugs:

Bracelet - Yes

However after looking at Jon's shots and some others previously I think a dark brown/tan leather with cream stitching will fit the bill.

Bracelet is good, but so is brown leather. When I had one it was mostly on brown leather, but a darker shade than the one you've posted there.

I voted bracelet, but agree with Dave that a darker brown leather would also work well.

Out of those four, bracelet without a doubt. It might work with leather though - just not any of the straps in your pictures... please :) Anyhow, it's such a nice watch that choice of strap becomes almost insignificant 8)

Breitlings always look best on black leather with a white stitch. However, the black rubber is a close second. 8)

Rubber is good too

Leather is fine - but not the ones in the pictures - something chunkier would in my view be better

I quite like the Diver Pro Rubber, very nice and fits the image IMO. Even nicer would be an Ocean Racer though, but very pricey...

I just ordered a dark brown Hirsch heavy calf strap to my CA. I think it will work out nice.

I decided to try the rubber first..
(forgive the hairy monkey wearing my watch :evil: )

Feels really soft and comfy. 8)
I'll give it a week and try something else! :lol:

Watch looks great with the rubber strap - the only problem is that I really want to get the ocean racer rubber strap for mine!

Its complicated. I voted for dark brown leather, but I think the CA looks really good on the bracelet. The problem is that for general wearing it feels better on leather. Having said that I find that my CA looks and feels really good on one of Eddie's green NATOs, although its the blue dial version. For the blue dial CA, a navy blue Di-Modell 'Jumbo' looks pretty good.

Here's a pic on the NATO (not my CA, but you get the idea). For the black dial CA why not try it on a grey NATO...?
