Thank you very much Duarte. That is a nice collection. I like the way you use
banknotes ... it gives a good idea about the size of a watch. It's novel.

My favourite is the Eterna. I love the way the hour-hand is constructed.

    What is a PERSONAL DOSIMETER?

Thanks John. the personal dosimeter is a radiation dosimeter

issued by the MoD. Not sure if it is still current issue.

    Nice shots!

Aside from being banknotes - are there some old share certificates in there also?

    Eterna

That Eterna watch is great (maybe some more pictures of that watch in the future?)

Thanks. Yes, some old shares, letter of credit, bonds..

checks, etc.. mostly, Portugal and colonies, most are from the monarchy pre-1910.

    Nice pix!
Could you tell me the case size of the Roamer Anfibio?
Does it have issue markings (Rhodesian army???) Any pix of the back of it?

  8. #8

The Roamer is 35 mm (37 mm w/ crown)..

The Roamer is 35 mm (37 mm w/ crown), 41 mm lug to lug (height), 20mm lug space, 9.5 mm height

It has a ZA serial #, no one is sure if it is Rhodesian or South African..
My theory is that the ZA #s (Zuid Afrika) may be South African, the RA #s Rhodesian (Rhodesian Army).. but I could be wrong.

It is from 1983, purchased on eBay.

They pop up from time to time, on eBay and the sales corners.
