hi andy,very good choice.
Hi folks, I am new on this forum, but I have a large and growing collection of watches. I thought I would like to buy a Time Factors watch, and having a few military watches, I was looking for something with this type of look.
A couple of days ago I was on the bay and came across a PRS-18-Q for sale, it had not been worn much and looked in good order, so I thought I would have a punt.
Well it arrived yesterday, in what I can only describe as new condition, not a mark on it and a very new looking black NATO.
I must say I am very impressed, a great looking watch. I noticed last night what a great lume it had and was impressed by this.
So whats next, I am having a real liking for the PRS-5 and have read a lot about it on the forum, so once I have some funds sorted out, that will be my next purchase.
hi andy,very good choice.
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
The PRS-18 is a fine watch, congrats :) Totally agree with the PRS-5 as the next purchase, I got mine yesterday and it's fabulous :D
Cheers

My first was an 18Q too, so i'm bound to say it's a good choice...
Lovely watch. Been wearing mine most of the week and enjoying it immensely.
Good choice x2 8)
I have a PRS-18A on the way and I love seeing pics of it to help me cope with the wait. :bounce:
Thanks guys, its a great looking watch and I dont think it will be my last. :)
I had one and thought it was excellent. My only issue was that it didn't have a date - which I know it's not meant to have, but otherwise a great value watch for the money.
I bought Mark's PRS18Q :D and think it's a fantastic little watch.Originally Posted by bonzo697
Looks ace on a Nato - black, olive green or 'Bond' w/orange stripe (i.e. every Nato I own).
Enjoy :)
Nice choice, it was one of my early buys. Being the oaf I am mine gets worn on a velcro & nylon strap by Animal that is obviously aimed at the ""teen with atitude"" market. Yes, it is a fairly old strap hence the adjective "teen" not "youff". The combination has proved itself suprisingly resilient. I am even beginning to accept the strap. Enjoy yours.
i'll probably order this watch as well, but from Eddie
is it just me or do others also add a handful of straps from Eddie with every order.....???
Very nice watch, good choice ...
The 18 is a great choice...
I have an 18A :D

Keep it real though... grey NATO is the only way forward!

It works surprisingly well on SB NATO too

Naahh the grey is too bland, you need some contrast to the case, so any other colour will do :mrgreen:Originally Posted by Pamplona

You are so right... and your picture paints a thousand words.
If you are in uniform, the grey is the only one.
I dare say you could get a gold charm bracelet to fit if you really feel the need to go for a 'contrast' though.
Stay safe during this period of severe global warming.
No gold charms just a bit of fun in the snow :D
Toolwatch

yes it's a maratac nato strap, I really like the colour, but it's a bit short between the keepers as you can see in the photo, not a problem when you wear it though.
If you want a nato strap that's a bid wider between the keepers I suggest getting one from timefactors.com they are very good and also with beadblasted keepers.
Lovely Watch.
I never seem to catch any on the bay though, bugger!
Have you tried to catch one here:Originally Posted by obsession
