My 15 year old Son's ND Submariner...

... my son came home with this yesterday:

Dont even ask why a 15 year old lad is wearing a PINK watch! it's the fashion apparently - i despair. But when i looked at it a bit closer i noticed that it was an exact copy of the ND Submariner, even down to the clasp. Quite cool in some ways... downright awful in many others :)

They're £9.99 at Argos and you know what, I think I prefer 'em to the PVD'd "originals" you sometimes see posted on here

Thanks for sharing - might get one of these for my eldest. The colour goes nicely with your username too. :)

So they are now copies of copies!
I think toy watch were the originators of this trend but their version goes for £200.

This is exactly what puts me off what is otherwise probably my favourite watch, it's plagiarised to death!

Kids these days do all sort of things. It's almost like the 70s or 80s again.

Like the "ToyWatch" brand... bright, plastic and based on some classic designs... the anti-WIS watch?

At least he is wearing a watch - which is more than most teenagers do.

My daughter has the Surf watch in PINK by Wave Watches

    http://www.wave-watch.co.uk/store_index.html

Another cheap sub-a-like, but I can't have a go at her for wearing a PINK watch. We bought her a compact digital camera for her birthday & despite it reviewing badly against the competition, she HAD TO HAVE the pink one.
