    My 'new' Speedmaster

It's a 1986 Omega Speedmaster Professional with a solid caseback and a Cal. 861 movement. Click any picture to enlarge it to 1920px-wide goodness.

    Great pics of an icon.
Movement looks very clean as well.

    Nice,

I find the full-size Speedy too big for me so I`m happy with my reduced, which is around 39mm.

The speedy moon watch is an all-time classic IMO.

Very nice indeed! I had one of these as my first 'proper' watch many years ago and may well add one to the collection again.

    Enjoy it and congratulations.

They're all taken with a Canon EOS400D and the stock 17-55mm lens that comes with the camera. Yes, all of them.

Of all of the watches I've owned, my old '72 speedy remains my firm favourite. It's like an old friend now.

They are very nice photos - I really need to learn how to take pics like that (and invest in a tool to take the back off my watches).

    Thanks. :)

These are actually very simple photos. One spot and a light tent, tripod, cable release, one simple cheap lens ...

Congratulations, that's a really nice watch. Mine is the more recent Luminova version but I have to admit that the Tritium dial is special.

I'm perilously close to succumbing to a speedmaster. :P
