My Hamilton GG-W-113 (first and more or less test picture)

Purchased from Eddie, and overhauled by both IWW (lume and beadblast) and Jürgen (crystal and movement regulation).

Please excuse the crappy photo - still learning the art of digital photography ...

    Cheers,

    Martin ("Crusader")

Nice watch. When I finally got to buy one of those from Eddie he was out of stock.

Once again congrats and thanks for posting!

I toyed with the idea of getting one but ... I am glad you had it seen to ... many forget that very often NOS may mean, ?still needs servicing?. Nevertheless, the beadblasting looks good.

I just love these Hamis. I see them as ?the Jeeps? of the watch-world. It?s nice to see Hamilton offering modern equivalents but always nicer to have originals while they can still be had and can be used as everyday watches.

Yepp, the servicing was more expensive than the watch itself ... but the matte beadblast is a most beautiful finish (even better than black PVD), and with the new crystal the watch should be reasonably waterproof. So it is indeed a fully functional daily wearer. :D

Movement is an ETA 2750 at 21'600 ... wonderfully slow! :)
