I think there is so much variety in most manufacturers' ranges, that with the most outrageous brands excepted (Jacob?), "dissing" an entire company is more a commentary on the people who buy them. For example I'm not at all keen on any of Oris's headline watches but I think the original BC - old fashioned, retro even, a bit delicate - is great. And I wouldn't give Omega a further thought if it wasn't for the electric-blue Seamaster, even though it's now been discontinued. So for me it's not about the brand as a whole, and more about an "average" (do I like, for example, more than half the designs they offer?).
