    Precista G10 Quartz

I hope I get this 150th BMW post in before anyone else pushes their enter key.

I recently bought a Precista G10 on eBay. I've not taken much interest in quartz watches seeing them as somewhat inferior to the more traditional mechanical watch. However, my first impressions of the Precista G10 (thick case) type are that this is a watch of some substance.

I'll get a couple of scans organised and post a few details of the specification of the watch for anyone who may be interested in one of the original Precista issued watches.

I'm all for Eddie re-launching the Precista name. Today's Precista watches have a heritage and I hope we can discover a bit more about the Military watches that carried the same name.

If anyone else has a Precista military issue, please post details or let me know.

I have a Precista G10 on the way from Watchco. Managed to snare one on ebay, will take shots as soon as I get my hands on it.

Some Precista G10 are thicker (11mm) than G10 (9mm) made with other names on the dial. I hope you get a nice one.

I road tested my 1982 G10 Precista Quartz over the last two weeks in Asia. It's running very well after servicing, accuracy probably within 1 second per month. This is the first daily wear watch to displace my PRS-1, which I used constantly since original purchase 2 years ago.

Magirus, please post PM again, I did not receive it.

    Wow

Those are great photos Duarte. They seem to give the Precista life, and character!

I'm VERY impressed. With both the watch, and the photos 8)

You're pics pushed me over the edge. I finally ordered a PRS10 yesterday, after having been tempted for about a year :D

Just landed this nice Precista G10 from the bay. Absolutely great casual watches.
