    "A History of Clocks in the RAF" by Lt Col Bob Gardner

    Although not strictly watches, I would think some of us might be interested in military clocks as well. Lt Col Bob Gardner, who has long been involved in research and restoration of RAF clocks is about to publish what looks to be the definitive work on this area of horology.     had a look like the mantle clocks.
    what exactley was a sector clock?

    thanks, so the colours relate to the time the fockers/me109s are spotted
    then plotted on the board with flags.simple effective idea.
