Here's mine, currently on a one of Carl's velcro straps. (It's the one on the right )

OK, so whenever someone comes on and mentions their new 2254.50, many of us pile in with discussion about this fantastic watch - mostly the bracelet/NATO debate.
Anyway, there seems to be quite a large contingent of owners here, so I thought I'd call the register. Post if you've got one - with a nice pic of yours if you've taken one - and let's see how many members the 2254.50 Owner's Club really has. :)

:)
Here's mine. Prefer the standard SMP bracelt as i hate bracelets usually but the Omega SMP and the Marathon bracelets are the only ones i've found comfortable. No NATO for this one.
Count me in :) :
I have just withdrawn mine from SC.
No, not because it didn't reach the asking price but because of this post.
Needs much more consideration I think.
Now sold.
Dave
Add another one to the list...... :D
Good call Dave, now get in on your wrist and wear it with pride. No point having a beautiful watch and keeping it for best.Originally Posted by Dave in Wales

Here's mine on a Bond; best combination IMO though I`m sure many won`t agree. Cracking watch, best black/steel diver on the planet.

So, no one of you guys interested in selling that piece to a nice chap over in Sweden?
I'd love to own one of those. I think it is especially the hands that does it for me...
My retailer couldn't get one when I asked about it :( :( :(

Hi John, although Omega have "discontinued" this model, there are still a fair few around the dealer network. I bought mine in January, and even managed to get a good discount, although the manager of the AD is a good friend which helps.Originally Posted by BigSwede

Oh no!
Owners club............roll call.
You've been hanging around too many foreign watch forums.
Forgive me but I can't see how a thread of pics of modern watches all the same is in any way interesting.
More effort required.
Cheers,
Neil.
Someone's on form today I see Neil . You have a point as always but there's no harm in people showing their appreciation, even if it is a modern piece. We can't all have collections like yours after all.
Cheers,
Gary
I can play...
Though I generally feel an "owners club" is only really worthy with Limited Edition or rare pieces (a'la Dreadnought) :)

Thanks to my new arrival - I can play...
but I don't 'get' the owners club fuss...
At least there is a slight difference between Sub/SD models  :wink:Originally Posted by Gruntfuttock
But I do agree with you Tony loads of pics of the same watches that are still for sale in shops is a bit pointless to me but it was the words "club" and "roll call" that got me going.
The club bit reminded me of a know nothing who insisted on starting a Seamaster club over on WUS omega and even though I taunted him mercilessly he stayed at it until he eventually went over to the Rolex forum and started telling everybody how great the Subs were.
I did ask if he was going to start a Sub club but seemed to take umbrage and was never seen again.
Cheers,
Neil.
Well make some more effort then. :lol:Originally Posted by Omegary

Nice to see them on different bracelet and nato - so not all the same - froma previous owner who is missing his watch already :)
It's just a matter of time...
It's not a real club, you know? :lol:Originally Posted by Neil.C

Plus, as a bit of a photography buff, it's nice to see some of the more well-taken, creative photos. :)
I have got one too.
:D
I sold mine recently so technically I cannot be in the club. I thought it was worth mentioning though, since the visitors to this thread are interested in this watch. This was not an official issue, they had to buy them at fairly close to retail at around £950. I bought it off the original owner, only 300 were made for a rather special unit. The case back with the picture is sapphire such as they do on some of the anniversary moon watches. Not one that you will see very often.
Myth dispelled - the military still use the Omega Seamaster 300
Count me in also... Sorry, no pic now available, but I have also an 2254.50, bought brand new in 08/2006 by myself.
And just a bit more - you can see it is the 2254, and here sitting on its issue papers. I am corrected on the price though, it was full retrial he paid, £1,150. I have photo-shopped out his name, you can see though he is a Lance Corporal, seen as L/CPL on the papers - an interesting one and I will probably regret selling it, but hey ho
I should think so too - best watch ever, the watch Rolex wished it had made, an' that? How could you possibly improve on perfection ;)Originally Posted by Dave in Wales

Exactly, just a bit of fun given the constant references there have been recently to these watches, sorry though that I didn't contribute on the creative photo front, still, you can see there is actually a watch in my photo so that's got to be good right?Originally Posted by Harry Hotspur

OK - I'd like to contribute to this thread! I own a 2254.50 and have also tried it on the 'Bond' bracelet (instead of the 'Speedy' style it was sold on) - I prefer the 'Bond' myself as it doesn't taper. Here are some picts, oh - i tried it on the 300m GMT bracelet aka - AT style hidden clasp - also very comfy! - pics:

On 'Bond' bracelet
Great watch - great lume - rock solid movement Chronometer Cal 1120! And easy to wear.
“ Ford... you're turning into a penguin. Stop it.” HHGTTG
Bought new only this week and for an unreal price - I love it - another never for sale Omega in my collection - all time classic and almost up there with my favorite Omega 2531.80 - although very privilledged to have both!
I would say every one should own one of these - although the lum is about 20 times better on my titanium version for some reason??
It's just a matter of time...
How much did you pay, if you don't mind me asking?Originally Posted by Omegamanic

Another one here ...
Here's mine but it is currently on one of Eddies black NATO's and looks very good :)

Yup, I have one too. Probably my most worn watch. It usually lives on one of Eddie's NATOs, either black or grey. I think it looks better on black. I tend not to use the speedy bracelet- the bezel's much easier to use on a NATO.
Lovely watch- scarily accurate, slim and elegant, yet still a tool watch. I also like it because it's definitely different compared to a Rolex. I mean no offence to Rolex or wearers thereof, I just mean it has a design which is distinct. I'd have a 5513 or a SeaDweller in a heartbeat, especially if I could get some sword hands for it...
Mine's going with me to Le Mans tomorrrow too!
So's mine - I think it really works.Originally Posted by Rod

Few more pics of mine, just for the sake of it :)
Mine, only worn rarely now since role of daily watch taken over by Submariner.
After a week spent swimming with soggy, stretchy Natos, it’s good to be back in rubber
