Modded Seiko divers on orange zulu/rhino..how would it look?

    Hi Guys,

I have just received my new Seiko divers and really fancy putting it on an orange zulu/rhino strap, butt i'm afraid i will look a tit wearing it. I know the Wife will think so, but what do you guys think?

    Cheers,

    Steve

I have several NATO/Rhino's that I use with my Seiko divers, incl. a modded SKX007. Haven't got a photo of the SKX with orange rhino to hand but I always wear my Tuna on an orange rhino when I'm on holiday - looks OK (if rather high off the wrist), and my wife and kids think it looks bright and fun - here's a photo last year in Greece..

i wouldnt have it on an orange myself but who cares what the wife thinks? its only a strap. i think it would suit a bond myself.

I think the nato with the orange stripe would look great, but i have just checked and Eddie only sells them in 20mm :( . My lugs are 22mm. Does anyone know of another source?

    Cheers,

    Steve

There are people who can get away with orange, and others who can't (I'm in the latter category :) ). If you feel like it, give it a try-the straps are not that pricey anyway and if you don't like it you can switch to something else

It looks like a modded (hands, dial, bezel) SKX007.

Yes, it's a bead blasted SKX007 with a seiko 5 dial, aftermarket hands and a stainless bezel insert. The diameter is 43.5mm excluding crown.

I didn't realise it was a modded watch, that explains why I'd never seen it before! It looks spot on, it's a shame that the Bond with the orange stripe won't fit though.

Edit: just spotted the thread title, i'm a muppet :drunken:
