Why do people bother. OK, its only the watch uneducated that will do so, but still....come on!!! What is going on at ebay HQ. Because of the sh!t they let people get away with, I would never buy anything watch related or expensive from this site. If my dream deal popped up on here and looked a dead cert, I would still let it slide rather than take the risk. Ebay is a joke, which I spose does make me laugh when I see this sh!t on it.

I've seen a few fake PAM's go on ebay recently. Most get pulled before the end, but I've seen a couple in last month go for £1800+. One was a UK sale that shipped to Canada. I msg'd the buyer, but go no response.
What I don't get are these 100star + users that have been using ebay for a while & have a good rating, yet still state they bought from new, when it's a fake. I've also know someone who bought a watch from a friend to then find out it was a fake after they listed in on ebay.

My one bad watch-buying experience (before I joined here and learned so much more) was a fake Pam. It hurt. I look at occasionally and wince. It has a nice Radiomir-style case, crystal and exhibition back if anyone wants to make a Frankenwatch. You can throw away the cheap Chinese auto. Make me an offer. :twisted:

The model number will be printed on the reverse and will be something like PAM000112, I only ask as I have not seen a model like this before, perhaps it is a limited edition or rare model, but would like to know before I commit

It's quite obvious to anyone with an ounce of WISdom that the watch I advertised was not a Panerai - and I pointed this out myself specifically, and told Eddie to pull it if he was unhappy.
I have sold numerous watches here in the past, with excellent references - so before you piss on my patio, please take some time to do some research.

Ebay has become an absolute joke. I used to take the time out and report loads of scams and fakes. Did they care? NO, nothing ever happened.

It's a very fine line between a replica and a 'homage'.

It's not too fine a line for me. If it says Panerai on the dial (as yours does) - and it isn't a Panerai - then it's a fake, or replica IMO.

If it says 'replica' on the item then that's okay but this clearly sets out to sell itself as a proper Panerai. It's a fake and should not be on sale.
