Just to say "Hi" and ask for some assistance

    Hello,

I'm new to TZ-UK but I've been on another watch forum for many years.
My collection of watches has grown and shrunk over the years and it originally started out with an obsession with, mainly British, military watches - specifically pilots'. From this era I still have a 1979 Smiths W10 and this leads me to my question. On another forum someone called Nalu (Colin) suggested I try and contact Bob Frazier on TZ-UK, the reason being that ever since I bought it in 2006 I have been looking for a pair of original (or even replacement) hands for aforementioned W10. During its probably colourful lifetime some twunk replaced the original hands with thoes of a civilian watch. I can tell the time of course, but it just looks wrong and daft.

So please Bob, if you have any original hands left over ... PM me.

    Thanks.

I think your best bet is to find a "basket case" and plunder the hands from that. There used to be an eBay seller from Cyprus who often sold parts for these.

His e-mail button does work, though, probably worth trying that.

Nice to see you over here :)
