    Nice

Yes, I prefer the std. CWC dive watch vs SBS ...

    1. With Severe usage the PVD will wear through ... if you like that particular wabi .. ok
    if not, you're stuck ..
    2. The SBS has day/date ... I prefer the cleaner no day/date dial.

That being said, if a SBS did become available, I would like to acquire it ...
    :-)

    ?

What is PVD on an SBS.
Is it the colour change on the steel from silver to black?

PVD is a surface treatment which (a) hardens the surface and (b) changes it from metallic to black. It is not unscratchable/undingable however and once lacerated, you'll have a silver/black watch.

:D I have a CWC SBS diver on the way, happy happy, joy joy. Not too worried about the PVD coating as I don't think mine will see hard use. Just an occasional fondling now and again.
I'll be happy to take some pictures and post them here.
Just one question, Is it Cabot Watch Company or Corterbert Watch Company?
I've seen both in my googling for information, very confusing.

Cabot is correct. CWC are based in Cabot House which, coincidentally, is also the home of Silvermans. The two companies are not connected, honest, CWC says so.

Thanks for clearing that up Eddie.
