    Hirsch used to sell them but dropped them because people kept losing their watches.

    The ones on this strap seem to be pretty solid though, no lost watch so far :)

    Do you need to cut a slot into every strap you use them with?

    They are built right in to the strap and are very safe. Sounds like Hirsch had some quality control issues.
