welcome to the forum. Don't worry about your level of knowledge, I know b*gger all and know one has told me were to go....yet.
The key I have found is to post picks.
Hi there one and all.
I am from London.
I have been browsing around the site since May and decided to sign up to the forum the other week. It looks great here, friendly community.
I hope to be able to participate although I am not sure my knowledge is up to the same level as some of you guys.

Hi and welcome aboard!
as said, don't worry about your level of knowledge, there's room for anyone who participates in what we share here.
share your views, show us a pic or two of your watches and have a good time.
Have you been trying to repair watches again this morning? :twisted:Originally Posted by b11ocx
Depends on what level you want to get involved with more? I have found a new passion for modded Seikos as the prices they sell for S/H here are making them great value .You can also sell them very quickly if you need to.Originally Posted by Spy

You don't really need to know anything to join in.
Ignorance has never stopped me anyway.
Hello and welcome I hope you enjoy the forum as much as I do .
Hello & welcome! I've been here for years & still know not a lot ..
/vince ..
hear hear! I know far more now than when I joined, but more than that I have found my tastes have refined and my wishlist grown!
Hi Spy, welcome!
Hi Folks, another newbie here!
Hopefully got a Sinn coming through in a few days from Alex via the Sales Forum :D , although locked out today...
Need to stop lurking, and start to post more I guess!!
Welcome :)
Respect the past, live the present, protect the future
Quite so, TuscanRacer. Do post a pic of the Sinn when it arrives. My 'best' watch is a Sinn 356 II to which I am deeply attached (especially as it was a present from my wife).
Hi and welcome.
Don't worry, there's just as much chat here about stuff other than watches, just join in a conversation :D
And, sorry: welcome to Spy, too.
I knew nothing about watches when I joined the forum, feel I have learned a very great deal, and much enjoyed the friendly banter along the way. A combination of ignorance allied to curiosity strikes me as an excellent starting point and, since so much about watches comes down to aesthetics in the end, it's quite possible for everyone to have a valid opinion without necessarily being able to tell at a glance the difference between the movements in an early and a late Speedmaster Pro, say.
Welcome. :)

Thanks for all the welcoming messages guys.
I definitely will try to get stuck in. It is a fine balance though, between getting stuck in here and getting divorced from the wife
I must make a note to get myself some new pics of picks
Hello and welcome
welcome
b11ocx - now at the risk of hijacking this thread, that wouldn't happen to be the same Jon that used to have a Tuscan with the same plate...?
It is indeed, but mine was in a manly colour, unlike yoursOriginally Posted by tuscanracer

welcome to the forum! its a great free way to expand your knowledge.
From memory, wasn't your's 'mincing red' with a lilac and 'candy love pink' (from the Dulux Range) interior....?
I thought mine was quite manly actually - and I didn't keep breaking mine, nor set any landspeed records on the M4 racing 747's out of Heathrow!!
I OBJECT..... they were 737's and they were coming into Heathrow  8) 8)Originally Posted by tuscanracer

Steve has the technical abilities of a chimpanzee, and therefore pictures may be a little bit of an issue for him
