Friday evening here in NZ, so definitely the right day! Have had this on my wrist for the past two and a half weeks while on holiday “down under”, which is some sort of a record as lately I’m lucky to do two days with the same watch! In all that time its never failed to make me smile every time I’ve looked at it, and if i ever have to go down to one watch, i’d be happy with it being this one!

After my embarrassing mistake yesterday, I humbly offer my wrist-shot up on the CORRECT day. My penzance will continue over the BH weekend. Have a good one.

At the airport on the way home so Garmin all week. Still have 50% battery after 7 days so can't complain about that!

It must be Friday because my watch tells me it's so. Excuse the goosebumps - someone walked over my grave.

Oh my, that's a cracking piece - I love the attention to detail in the green date wheel.

I bought a spares lot from eBay many years ago and this non working 4004-5009 (1974) was included, love the dial texture, very snow flake ish, had it serviced a couple of years ago and its running like a good un.

    Lovely.
It's properly lovely. I picked it up in person from Mr Clemence, great guy who is really passionate about the watch and it shows - there are some fantastic little design elements that the Chinese mushroom brands just don't think of.

The dial is bonkers as well, the orange bit can be a bright yellow or dark brown depending on light. The green bit can be bright green through turquoise to blue. It's a great watch, loads of big praise online, totally deserved. Genuinely one of the best watches out there at this price.

You'd think I was on commission.
