I picked this up for about £50. Will do me this year. Even does tides!

Anyone buying a cheap and cheerful watch for the summer holidays this year?
I've decided to get one of these from Watchdives. 39mm titanium case and bracelet with nh35 movement. It's very light and comfortable and the lume is excellent.

Wore this whilst away last month.![]()
For a holiday watch, I need
- GMT, or the ability to step the hour hand
- decent WR, and
- decent lume, or a light.
I've always thought the Breitling quartz chronos would be a good holiday watch.
(Other colours are available...)

Had this a week or so and loving the functionality of the quartz vs. the appearance.
I am away on Sunday so will be taking this with me this year.
I had it on a nato strap but the bracelet gives it just enough more ooo for me.

Nothing wrong with that at all. I think I've had the composite case version - love the asymmetry. Good watch.
gregory - great Breitling.
This has been my holiday watch for the last 20yrs :)

It certainly has! It's been on 20yrs worth of motorcycle trips all around mainland Europe, diving in Thailand (and Stoney Cove, Brrr!) camping at Lake Havasu, Arizona, walking in Washington, and other road trips in the US, camper van touring in NZ, and every camp trip in the UK, Ireland, and every boozy weekend away with the gents! ;)
It's had a good life :)
Last few years these two on holiday.

Some nice ‘cheap and cheerful’ watches.
Depending on the holiday, one, or both of these.

titanium, NH Seiko, ceramic insert, sapphire...all under 80 (!!! how???)![]()
A Senraw Clearance makes a good holiday watch!
Was going to sell it after getting my birth month/year watch but think it’s too good to sell now as it’s a good all round
