My only one, love this silly big bugger. It threatened to send me down the rabbit hole of oddball Citizen divers, and what a rabbit hole it is, but I've resisted so far.
I'm pretty sure we have a Seiko thread but couldn't find one for Citizens. I've found them to be great fun to collect as they are still so affordable. Seikos have really upped their prices recently and that means that Citizens are even better value for money these days. I'm going to have a look at some of their Eco-drives, Zenshins and maybe one of their Series 8 GMTs.
Anyway, show us your Citizens!

I am so overwhelmed by the quality of this one that I'm not bothering to look at any other manufacturers' pieces now. It does everything one would ever need, perfect balance, weight and finish; never wrong and no maintenance ever.
Next, for pool duties on holiday in April, I'll grab a BN0158 and wear it on a shark mesh.
I've had a few Citizens over the years, but never really given them credence for the splendid pieces they make. When things are financially better, I'll try and find an AQ4080. Gorgeous.
Andy, what are your thoughts on the Tsuyosa?

I've owned quite a few Citizens and was recently looking at one from the Series 8 range.
Currently I have these two.
A Citizen Seven Star Moondater. From around the late '60s / early '70s as it has the wording 'Para Water' on the case back..
Expertly restored to working order by Brendan (webwatchmaker). Patina by the bucket load.
Second watch needs no introduction, bought this as NOS for not a lot of cash some years ago.
I have a few! I love a vintage Citizen, it's just a shame that info and parts are so difficult to find

Lots of colours to choose from. I was surprised how lovely the Tiffany dial was and how easy it was to pair with what I was wearing. Build quality is excellent. Very nice weight. Only issue is the recessed crown and you have to wind it by scrolling a single finger. Have a look at the Zenshins Forza Eco-drives models with the textured dials. Also has an integrated strap, great dimensions and they look fantastic.
It is a nice wear in titanium. I've had it a few years now and give it some wrist time over the Christmas and New Year. It's very comfortable, nothing but smooth edges all over bracelet and head. Time keeping to within 5sec per year and auto change calendar.
I love it. 👍🏻
Not sure to be honest.
I had two of these, quite similar to each other, one light dial and this black one.
I moved the light one on and kept this.
I've also had at least 8 GS over the last 10 yrs or so, quartz, auto and spring drive.
The Citizen is absolutely on a par in the same price range as the equivalent GS, for sure.
👍🏻
I love that Dandy Seven.
I have a soft spot for a Cosmotron.

I have a couple. The first one is apparently the most bejewelled Citizen ever with 43:
There's a green faced one incoming too ...

The quality of this is way more than its price point.
Me too!
I have quite a few. I found a Royal Elite version which seems pretty rare. Photo below, as well as some other Cosmotrons.
Thanks too for the kind words on the Dandy Seven Diver, they're also absurdly rare. Mine was bought missing the bezel, and about a year later a complete NOS case came up!

And how could I forget this old thing?!
A Citizen thread has been running for a bit…

They do produce some cracking stuff.

It's from November 1973, and the reference is 4-790073. It's the 7804 movement, which is one of the later ones (by movement type). These run at 36000bph.
The faceted crystal shows some wear as they often do. The dial is radial brushed hexagons laid out like tiles, and the brushing catches the light and retracts it. Kind of a Disco Rainbow!

I'll raise you on faceted and give you asymmetric case as well!
The facets are really difficult to photograph well
I've been drawn to those as well, but CW has some nice dials at the moment
TK Maxx has a solar-powered titanium chrono on a Ti bracelet for just £162 if anyone's interested - sorely tempted myself, but I am also grimly determined to buy no more watches this year!
Cheers! Green is the way.
