Rolex (?) GMT

I found this yesterday while out walking. It was in such a prominent place that I wonder if it's fake (as in couldn't be bothered to pick it up when it broke).

Bracelet has come apart and the 9 o'clock applied baton is adrift. The seconds hand does not hack.

I'm no Rolex expert so would appreciate a opinions on its fakeness or otherwise. If it's deemed real I'll make some effort to trace the owner.
