Stonewashed finish on a watch

I've got a few tools and things in a stonewashed finish and quite fancy a stonewashed finish on a watch

Does anyone know of a watch with a stonewash finish? Preferably in titanium but steel would work.

Nothing silly expensive.

I can think of the small zenith chrono which is similar but too expensive for me

I guess a watch modder might be able to do it.

Try Tempuswatchmods on IG perhaps.

He may be able to do something with cerakote.

Seiko SRPG39 is stonewashed. I also modded a SNZG case by stonewashing it. Turned out with a similar finish as the factory Seiko.
I've also stonewashed a metal G-shock Gmw-b5000.
I strip the watch down, take the glass out etc. then half fill a water bottle with gravel, add the case and shake.

I’m not sure about the blue and gilt but it’s a good option for a mod dial and hands maybe

I also found the titanium heimdallr tuna. I could remove the shroud and try the bottle method you mentioned without having to take the full watch apart

The only issue with the SRPG is that it's not a standard size dial. It's bigger than the usual 28.5mm.

Yeah, it caught me out as I was going to mod out the dial and hands as, well, gilt is not for me, nor should it have any place on a field watch. Also, normally available hands look tiny on this watch. I believe the dial is 32mm and has appropriately sized hands to match.
Cousins didn't offer any oem alternative dials or hands for the SRPG series either.

If you could get that Doxa with the normal dial colours and without the hefty mark up then it'd be very tempting

You've saved me £220.

You are also correct with the gilt observation. I guess one could buy the 39 and one of the other variations and swap the guts and dial over in one go but then you've doubled the outlay and left with a random franken watch.

I've got a Seamaster with a gravel rash finish...better that than my wrist

p.s. it was and probably still is my favourite watch

G-Shock with stone wash bezel and bracelet. Still has pockets of polish in the nooks and crannies, so looks more "distressed".
